A Sword For Your Gut Or Your Friend's

Finally got around to finishing this one. I've noticed a pattern with the way I handle paintings - I start them, abandon them, then go back and finish them when I have about 3-4 partials on the hard drive. I've got two more I need to finish, but one (the Rise of the Artilect piece) will have to wait for a faster computer and the other's not interesting enough to bother with. Hmm . . . time for new ones then ;)

I'm not sure if I'm happy with this one or not - I tried to keep it raw so as not to lose the dynamism of the piece - I've heard too many complaints about realistic paintings looking "posed." I'm developing a style that I like, but overall I feel like I'm missing something important.
