If someone had shown me the logo without telling me which company it's supposed to represent, I wouldn't have guessed there was a D in the logo. I also never would have guessed it was for a comic book company; I would've assumed it was an office product company, like Post-It or Scotch Tape.
It's dry. It's not exciting. It's not kid-friendly. It's *extremely* corporate. The swoosh, at least, had some movement, even if it was dated. The previous logo -- the round bull's-eye with the four stars -- was far more iconic than either of the last two designs.
It's a *little* better as a tab at the top of the book, but I still don't see the D. It feels like they're saying, "We are going to eventually drop the D from our name and be called Comics!"
