Recently used brushes palette in PS

Does anyone know of a dockable palette in PS CS5 that will keep a selectable list of your most recently used brushes with all their settings? Sometimes I adjust the settings on a brush, use it, move on to a different section of my painting, then want to re-use that brush, but don't want to fiddle with the settings again. I know the logical way is to save it as a new Preset, but sometimes I forget and also it would be quicker if PS could do it automatically for me. I've searched google, but it seems like too complex an issue to search for and the results are nothing useful for this. Thanks in advance!

I don't think so, and I doubt it will be something you'll see in the near future if at all. Too many people out there using a lot different brushes and brush settings to expect PS to try to keep up with them. And how would it determine what to consider for the list? If I change sizes on my brush it's technically a different brush setting. Same with fill and opacity. I think you're just going to have to get better about reminding yourself to save your new brushes.
