I'm new here too.

Me? I'm a graduating Illustration major who just self published his first graphic novel.
I really want to make it in the industry. That would be awesome.

Hi EVERYBODY!

I'm new here (duh :P) and I am also fairly new to the wonderful world of sequential arts. My first job as a colourist was with Advent Comics last summer. I still work for them but I don't get enough pages to make a steady income so I am currently looking for more work, most likely as a flatter since I am new to this and I'm still a million miles away from being a pro colourist. When I am not colouring comics for work I like to entertain myself by experimenting and making my own comics. I also enjoy making large acrylic paintings, which sell on occasion.

Wow, I wish I had found out about this site ages ago. I look forward to getting to know all of you lovely people. :D

Thought I should step out of the "occasional lurker" state and jump on in.

My name is Jeremy Dale, and I draw comics for a living. I've done work on a lot of stuff, from G.I. Joe to Image books like Popgun and Wildguard and a million kajillion indies. Currently drawing a creator-owned series, SKYWARD, and doing covers for books like Zombies vs Cheerleaders (ooo, classy).

Just thought I'd drop in and admire all the amazing colors! I'd love to learn more myself about coloring down the line when I get the chance. In the meantime, I see several of the colorists who've worked on my lines are here, so very cool!

Helloooooo!!!

My name is Theo Zeilstra, and I've started to make a serious go recently as a colorist for comic books and looking to get the most out of this community and as always learn something new.

Current samples of my work can be found at http://www.theozeilstra.com

I'm always looking to improve my skills and work, so feel free to stop on by and leave some comments. Constructive criticism is definitely encouraged.

Thanks in advance. ^.^

Hi folks,

My name's Bill, I'm from Ireland. I've been dwawing and painting my whole life although nothing profesionally. About five years ago I discovered Photoshop and I've been completely obsessed ever since. Been trying my hand lately at Coloring and Flatting, hoping to learn a lot more. I would love to contribute to the comic world in any small way.

Looking forward to chatting to you all.

Bill

Hello everyone! My name's John. I'm not actually a gutterzombie based from the description I have read about it, but I'm an art enthusiast and I appreciate art in all its form. I'm not an expert when it comes to drawing or anything in between, but I hope I'll be able to contribute something in my own way in the discussions. For now, I think I'll be an observant and an appreciative spectator.

Hi! I'm Stacy Raven. I've been an colorist in the comic community for over two years.

Some of my work history includes:

*ScatteredComics.com - Digital Coloring, 2008-present*
Cataclysm Issue #1
Blonde Assassin Issue #2
Boy Toys Issue #1
Boy Toys Issue #2
Deadly Threads Issue #1
Video Game Character Art
Video Game Environment Art
Comic Book Character Design
Children's Story Book Covers
Comic Book Covers

I'm still pretty new to coloring, I'm not nearly as good as I know I can be. I'm really studying hard and working my butt off to improve as a colorist by practicing every day and studying great colorists. Any constructive critiques of my work are very much welcome and totally needed! :D

Hi all,
My name is Rob Younce I am an aspiring colorist, I have had nothing published to date and really am working on my skills. I am hoping to get lots of critiques and answers to questions. Wish me well I am only hoping to do this part time so I may never get to do more than just flatting services but that won’t stop me from working on my rendering skills. Look forward to hearing from everyone…

Thanks
Rob
