It appears the email password reset option for folks who forgot theirs isn't sending out the emails. He just got the message that I'd sent him an email myself through his user account page on here, but he's not getting the reset one. It says his name/email address can't be found, when it clearly should be, since I just found and used them myself.

The account's Dante Picasso, in case there's some manual way for one of you guys to start the reset procedure.

Not sure if it's supposed to be working this or not,but after my first login attempt more and more I get the "you have exceeded your login attempts"message with the captcha puzzle. Not the end of the world, but getting exceedingly annoying.
Thanks :)

Yeah, I get that as well. I'll ask Dean about it.

It occurred to me that the reason the log-in attempts are counted as "too many" is that there's a brute-force bot trying to log into everyone's accounts with random passwords. Some sort of plug-in that bans a computer, at least temporarily, after failing to log in after however many failed attempts might not be a bad thing.

That's what I'm thinking too.

Still, that captcha thing on GZ is impossible to read. I'll see what Dean has to say.

Yeah, there are easier captchas out there.

Talked with Dean about this stuff yesterday. We both agree that it's probably a password fishing issue.

Also, we picked a new Captcha that should be easier for humans to use. Hopefully Dean will get a chance to install it some time soon.

Added a facebook-like "LIKE" system. I'll tweak it as we go. You might need to Force Refresh your browser window to get it to show up.

Any chance you can add a " don't like"? Otherwise, everything will always be 100% positive.

I just wanted to see what that does. Not that I don't approve of Dave's note or anything.

sorry dudes, I seriously just popped the mod in on a whim. I'll fiddle with it when I wake up tomorrow and get it working the way it should. Do you guys want rated posts like this? I was just going to gut it and literally just make it like the facebook "like" system.
