Here are the pencil sketches for my recent Bloodshot and Turok pieces. You can see I didn't really take these to a finished stage on paper, instead resorting to finishing it digitally where I'm more comfortable. Wanna make an effort to not do that in the future.

This was the first attempt I made at Bloodshot but I scrapped it because I couldn't seem to get his arm right.



So I started on this one using reference, which I'm now not sure I even prefer over the first one...



And the Turok pencils. I actually worked this one as a thumbnail first instead of just jumping in.

Well, this is for the Ten Ton challenge this week.... I had an idea for this I really wanted to spend more time on but between getting everything finished up for people for SDCC and trying to get my 3 year-old to bed I had to rush this out last minute to just make the deadline.

Not being happy with my earlier sketch I went back to it today and did some digital tweaking. Re-inked it in Painter then did some colors in PS.

That man-of-bats is seriously amazing! It was one of my favs in the entry...love how you gave his cowl depth...and how your able to capture life and a fluidness with just a torso. The colors make it shine!

Quick sketch done for this week's Ten Ton Sketch Challenge.

Really wasn't happy with how my WW piece turned out but I tried throwing some colors on it. Got this much done before I just got sick of it an decided to just move on.

The color WW is better, but overall not as nice and loose as the "Man of Bats."

A sketch of Red Sonja. Roughed out the figure on paper, scanned and inked it in PS. I'll probably color this at some point and add a background.
