Sea Turtles

My wife is doing some intern work for some sea turtle research. They're doing experiments to test their audio responses to see if they can develop additional ways to keep them out of shrimping nets. While my mom was in town last week, we took a trip down to Galveston and took a quick tour of their facility. I thought I'd post some pics of the turtles.

This is #237. (They don't have names, just numbers) He's a four year old, and cute as a button. Too bad he'd like to bite my hand clean off if I put it too close.



He's a cutie. But there is something going on behind those eyes....



Here he comes to try to bite me. He did not want to stay in his tank. Thankfully, they can't get out.



Ain't he cute?
