monkeybutter: Animals are considered pure, they won't be judged, just accepted. They don't sin. Only human beings have free will and will be judged on those grounds.
Also really I post on this thread with reluctance... I feel like people get constant fun out of mocking Christians all the time, on every art site and board I visit, and it is really alienating (and unfair but thus is the story of my life). I should be used to it really, but that doesn't make it feel any less shitty. Perhaps I'm such a downer and raining on the parade because this is the seventh anti/mocking Christian thread I've had to come across today.
In other words, how would you feel to wake up to any or all of the above every single day on the sites you frequent:
"Not all Christian fundamentalists should be told to wake up, some of them can be useful"
[Insert sarcastic-but-not-really atheist and other religion-bashing slurs here]
*guffaws*
"Not all Racist Black People should be told learn to accept things they can't help, some of them can be useful"
[Insert sarcastic-but-not-really white-people bashing slurs here]
*guffaws*
"Not all Corporal Punishment fundies should stop abusing their kids, some of them can be useful"
[Insert sarcastic-but-not-really people-who-take-alternative-methods-to-spanking bashing slurs here]
*guffaws*
Yeah not nice at all, in fact I just might be banned quicker than I can say "prejudice".
If none of you see that it's really something to think about here then *shrug* nothing else to say. I'm not coming for an argument or a fight, just to answer MB's question and drop a line of feelings now that I've calmed down, and that be it.
