CURVES WONT TAKE

Any corrections I attempt to make in Curves show up in the preview, but revert back once the window closes. Does anyone else have this issue? How do I solve this annoying problem?

Sounds like it might be a bug. Outside of trashing preferences and such, maybe try using an adjustment layer instead? Or does that produce the same bug?

Adjustment layers work-- I'll use that method until I reinstall Photoshop. Thanks!

I've got into the habit of adjustment layers because of the non-destructive nature of them. That is a real plus for me when I do photo manipulation and the client asks for more, or different changes. I also tend to use them with layer masks. I like the option of turning off adjustment layers and having multiple layers to cycle through for comparison sake. I just need to get into the habit of naming layers so I can remember what I used them for.
Oh, goodness. Look at my wrist. I gotta go.
