Hello! My name is Francesca, I'm Italian, living in Germany, and I'm a colorist and illustrator, in the process of turning professional. I've only done small independent things so far but like everyone else I hope to be one day good enough to work for a big publishing house.
I'm currently in the advanced coloring course at Comics Experience, taught by Chris Sotomayor, and I can't advertise it enough. Chris is a very good teacher and his critiques are always spot-on.
I'm here because I hope to show my work, to receive critique from professionals and proficient amateurs alike, and to look for work!
Nice to meet you all!

Postby Cornelius Random » Sat Jul 02, 2011 3:40 pm

HELLO!! I'm Cornelius Random. I'm a Singer/Songwriter, but of the Alternative kind. I have just finished writing my first solo project, which took me nearly 4 years to write. I am recording at the moment, and creating ideas for videos. It's a concept album that consists of 23 songs, and the idea is to create a video for each song. I am influenced by Comic Book Artwork, Graphic Novels, Movies, Anime and Fashion. So, my intention is to have a lot of Comic Book type Artwork throughout the videos, mixed with live footage and digital photography. Which is why I have joined GUTTERZOMBIE.. to learn from tutorials, and from other Members that are Artists in the field of Photography and all things to do with Art. *** The album is based upon someone who gives me a book he's writing; which turns out to be his life's work. He then asks me to finish writing it, just before he disappears. Basically, I start to get heavily involved with his writings, and then descend into one seriously messed up world *** It also has a lot of drawings involved within this book, too. As a whole, I guess it's heavily influenced from Fantasy, Horror and Sci-Fi comics I used to read. I am also influenced by.. 2000AD, Hell Boy, Guillmero Del Toro, Francis Bacon, Roald Dahl, Freda Gallo, Giger, Frank Miller, Alan Moore, Dark Horse Comics, 80s Sci-Fi and Horror Movies, Studio Ghibli, Akira, Ghost in the Shell and also up and coming Artists that I'm coming across through Twitter. Anyways, I'm honoured to be here at GZ.. I'm here to learn.. and to meet other Artists.. if you would like me to follow you on Twitter.. PLEASE let me know!! I don't expect you to follow me back :) If you would like to hear the new album, I'm releasing it track-by-track through a social network. First upload, soon.. 4 to 8 weeks? Anyways.. as I hate it when people spam me with their crappy music.. I don't like sending out links to my music, unless we're really close friends.. and so you'll have to message me, and I'll send you a link. or.. Google me!! ;)

THANKS!!

Hello,

My name is Kat Rocha and I am a comic artist living in California. I am probably best known for my work on Titanium Rain (published by Archaia) as well as the Catwoman story in the Batman 80pg Giant that was released 12/09. Currently, I am co-owner of 01 Publishing, the creator of LD30:Adventures of a Swinging Robot, and editor of the New Breed Anthology.

Hi,
I'm a writer, hoping to create some sample pages of a story I've written. I heard about this site at Comic Con the other day and hope to learn more about coloring my sample pages...or finding someone to do it for me!

Hello everyone, my name is Rick Holland and I am a freelance illustrator. I think I may have picked up my first professional comic project, doing inks and flats (and maybe full colors). Wish me luck!

Hello! I'm not a professional artist yet (fingers crossed some day!), but I AM without a doubt a gutter zombie, so I'm happy to join the community! I can't even say how many hours I've spent dawdling around on the internet looking at other peoples' amazing work, and when I'm not doing that I try to find time to spend on my own webcomic (http://unmasked-tf.blogspot.com/).

Cheers!

I'm Tangerine :). I've been flatting for about 4 years now, but just about ready to move onto bigger and better things.

Thought I'd stop by, say hello, share my knowledge of the flatting world, and maybe learn a thing or two about this crazy little thing called love :).

Hey there!

My name is Jessica Alley, and I suppose you could call me a "Gutter-Zombie-in-Training"!
I am a senior at the Art Institute of Washington, majoring in Media Arts and Animation, and my specialty is coloring! :) My focus is coloring comics, but I am also branching out to coloring animations as well.
I haven't done anything big yet, but I certainly am looking forward to being on a team that does great work!
Can't wait for the critiques! This site is fantastic!

Thanks for reading!

Hello everyone, names Ken Gibson, I'm just a lonely guy living in the woods, trying to learn how to draw. I'm here to soak in as mush information as I can, and maybe someday I can give a few pointers to someone else.
