Hi, I'm Scott

I've been an illustrator in the Role Playing Game Market for almost a decade. For the first 7 years I was strictly a black&white guy (ink illustration) but for the past 3 years I've been doing color digital paintings for book covers and trading cards. A lot of my work has been for Palladium Books on games like Rifts, Heroes Unlimited, and Palladium Fantasy.

Heh, a lot of faces from CC I see :)

I'm Jaysin, a struggling comic colorist isolated in Calgary Alberta. I've done covers for ComicsSpotlight magazine, and ghost coloring for Chris Soto, Val Staples and Hi-Fi. Oh, and I'll be working on a backup story for a Marvel book soon.

hi

Postby chrisc » Sat Mar 29, 2003 6:31 pm

Hi, I'm Chris.

I paint and draw things--comics mostly, but also paperback cover, trading cards and adversting stuff. I've been doing this full time since 1990, and part time, before that from 1986.

I am currently coloring New Xmen, Human Race, Agent X (fill-in), and Star Wars: Empire (4 issues).

Dave, I hope this isn't replacing a normal human social life.

Paul Mounts here. Colorer on The Ultimates, Fantastic Four, Terminator and various mini series I can fit in as I learn the joys of existence without sleep.

I'm looking forward to this beign a place to exchange real thoughts, not just quips, and as an addition to, rather than a replacement for ComicColorists Unite.

Dave and Brian, you have my great respect for the inspiration and energy it takes to startup and maintain this place. Good Luck! I'll lurk a lot and post when I have something intelligent to add.

And, BTW, to both of you--nice work on the coloring lately, guys!

Or, for you silly Canucks, colouring.

Hey all.
Brian directed me here, so I thought I'd see what all the hub-bub was.
I'm Chris Sotomayor (or "Soto").
I'm currently working on Captain Marvel, Avengers, Supreme Power and a couple of issues of The Call and every once in a while, I'll do some fill-in work on Ultimate X-Men and various other things.
I also do some toy packaging work for GIJoe (hasbro) and HotWheels (Mattel).
With that said, I don't know how often I'll be able to post, but I'll probably lurk quite a bit.
Great to see so many talented people here. This should be fun (providing I can keep up).
