Necessary Evil pages

I feel a bit intimidated from posting anything after seeing the illustrations and pages already here, but splicer encouraged me to post something, so here goes! The pencils are by Marcus L. Harris and the inks are by Vincente "Vinny" Navarette. The guys wanted a simple color style. Critiques and comments welcome.

I like it. Its clean and clear.

The only thing that jumps out is that yellow tv screen. A bright yellow light like that would probably have a much bigger effect on the room its shining into.

I hope we'll see more of your stuff!

Not bad Spence, you have some good color choices going. Try and see what you can do with the sirens from the cop car, I think it'll really add to the scene if you add red and blue lights reflecting off of the trees and road. See that wasn't so bad, your first cirt was from Steve Firchow! I hope to see some more from you :)

There were a couple of variations on that tv screen (orange won), but I haven't gotten around to adding that glow to the room yet. It never occured to me to add some red and blue lights to the trees and road for the other page, but I see it will improve the panel. Thanks for the critique!

I actually disagree. I like what you've done with them.

On panel 1, my suggestion would be to change the newsroom color as Steve suggested, and change the color of the sky in the last panel to a much lighter, almost whieish blue to make the scene distinct from the livingroom.
