Children Of Dust Revision

Postby Ross Hughes » Mon Mar 27, 2006 5:56 am

This is a revision of the Children of Dust sequential test page I did in January. I'm really hoping I can get some feedback on this as I would like to be able to work on this book full-time, and I know the people around here will be able to see some of the things I may have missed.

Thanks

I did a quick adjustment to the saturation on layed a color layer onverthe top filled with a dark blue set to about 45% oapcity. It lost some of the deatil in the contrasts and it isn't perfect but I think that this gives you an idea of where you could go wiht your colors to achive a more night time feel.

Just remeber that at night , even in the headlights of the car like here, colors are much less saturated and tend to go towards the blue and purple hues rather than reds and yellows.

Hope it helps a little.

Thanks Chris. Unfortunately, they're going in a different direction for a colorist on this book, but I plan on re-working this again in an attempt to get the right feel.
