Someone just mentioned they thought the text boxes were too big on my DA. These are for children, and should be larger then we expect from comic work.

Children can read the same sized text as adults.

I'd stick with 12 pt, maybe 18 pt for some things.

To me, it looks like the text was formatted to print at exactly the size you've posted on the board.

Font size should depend on whether this is a comic book in print size or something else, comics are around 6.75" by 10.25, children’s books are typically 8.5” by 8.5” or 8.5” by 11" and digest are 5.5" by 8.25". If it's normal comic size I see no reason to have overly large type. Read any kids comics like Disney stuff or Lions, Tigers and Bears and type is the same as most other American comics. Be a shame to cover the cool art needlessly.
