great coloring on the main characters but I think you need a lighter background on it just to make the characters come alive. light blue or something in a blue hue. (just a suggestion).

I agree with spidey somewhat and also feel the Thundercats symbol must be red and glowy like it is in the cartoon and comics, what you've done with it makes it obscured, too much gradient and effect lines. Even the one on Lion-o's belt is overly dark.

uhm yup
I threw this into ps earlier and pumped up the contrast and brightness and thought it looked a lot better
since you are going for that liquid/studio f style you should try to use more saturated/brighter colors imo

also I noticed that most of your bgs tend to be very dark/desatureted
maybe throw some colors in there =D

lol you guys hit the nail on the head methinks. I was really iffy about the bg colors, I couldn't decide what to do with them. I liked them but something seemed off. However I'll be honest I got a real love for desaturated and dark colors :0 I prefer them over bright any day. But you're right, i gotta use more ...hyped up coloring for a style like this.

@ booom: i feel silly for not quite knowing what the liquid/studio f style ...is o_o; who's coloring do you mean? Chris? o_O?

better looking bg Jemm. You know, the thundercats logo isn't used as a logo. Its like a spotlight. Everytime the go into battle, the spotlight appears. Just like batman's spotlight. Anyway, its no biggie. What matters is you learned a new coloring style. cool!
