How something like this is done?

Drawn by Sean Gordon Murphy and coloured by Matt Hollingsworth.

They've both been working for years and years. Matt even used to hang out around here, back in the day.

I know Sean shows process stuff sometimes on Twitter. I don't follow Matt, though, so I don't know if he shows any process stuff. You can study his work in various books, though. The Wake is fantastic. Tokyo Ghost you already know. He does a lot just with picking the right colours.

Using the same colours as him won't work with someone else's inks, though. He picks the colours to fit the inks. That's something you can only learn through practice. Study photography, movies, TV shows, music videos, real life, old paintings.

Most likely the art is done with pencil and brush work using india ink.

Coloring is most likely done on the computer.

You might want to contact both artists directly and ask how they do it?
