To be fair, my version of eating clean might differ from others' too. I eat all the steak, eggs, bacon, (center cut only) etc. that I feel like. Some people believe those foods to be questionable or bad for you, but I do not.

Got to go to the gym today. I jogged 2 miles on the treadmill and then spent around 15 minutes trying to lift some weights, about 20 lbs. (My grandma can beat me in arm wrestling. That's a pretty good sign I need some more upper arm strength. :( )

Every minute for 10 minutes, I did one 365 lb. Deadlift and as many toes to bar as I could fit in. I might run as well if my daughter's ballet practice doesn't run late.

I also did a few miles of trail running and hill sprints tonight. Nothing crazy.

Dumbbell bench and barbell rows for me, today. I might do some squats later if there's time.

Started pedaling on the highest resistance to get the most out of the recumbent bike, since it's not the greatest cardio. I also do some punching while on it with 10 lb weights to get some more full-body activity. I've also been playing Trials Evolution while riding and that definitely keeps my heart rate up as I scream at the guy for falling off his motorcycle again. The more pissed I get at the game, the harder I pedal.

Thursday: No workout.

Friday: 10 miles on the recumbent bike. Lifted weights: Gluts, Biceps, and Triceps.

Today: 10 minutes of HIIT type cardio and abs. 10 miles on the recumbent bike. Lifted weights: Shoulders, Chest, Upper Back.

Squats today. Barbell back squats, then some goblet squats to finish. The numbers were OK, but not really what I had hoped for.

Today was not a great workout day -- I had a rough time even using the same weights as last time I did this workout; forget progressing.

1A: Reverse Woodchop (30/30)
1B: Prone Jackknife (BW)

2A: Step-Ups (bench, 15s/15s)
2B: Incline T Pushups (bar at shin height for all reps, BW)

3A: Single-Leg Squat (tall bench, BW)
3B: Alt Lateral Raise (10s, 10s)

4A: SHELC (BW)
4B: Inverted Row (bar at middle waistband level)

The step-ups were surprisingly difficult. I don't know why, but my left leg did not want to comply and I had to help myself far too often with my right leg. There wasn't any pain, just an inability to push myself upright. After three step-ups on the high step, I went back down to the bench and did them there, but it was still really difficult. Must've just had an off day. I blame wheat. Oh well, at least I went.

Night before last: "I'm gonna work all night, go running at 6 am, shower and sleep for a couple hours, then go back to work!"
Yesterday morning, 4 am: went home, crashed, got up at 9. Cursed a lot, showered, went to work.
Last night: "I'm gonna get some sleep tonight, then get up at 6 am and go to the gym, then shower and go to work!"
This morning: woke up at 6. Ate pre-workout nutrition. Set timer for 30 min; laid back down. Woke up at 8:30. Cursed a lot, showered, went to work.

*sigh*

LAURA! No more all-nighters! You're the biggest name colorist in this industry. They can wait a day or find someone else to help you and it won't hurt your career a bit. Working out is supposed to make us healthier and missing sleep does the exact opposite. Whether you have time to exercise or not, your life span is more important than their deadline.

I forgot to post, but Monday I did shoulder press and weighted pull-ups, followed by some tricep and bicep work that I'm still sore from. Tuesday, I did squats, decline sit-ups, and hamstring raises on a yoga ball. Today is a rest (work) day, I think.

I went outside to exercise today and I don't know if it was the heat or what, but I felt terrible. I did "taters" which is basically a combo of a kettlebell swing and a goblet squat alternated with push-ups, then ring pull-ups along with sumo deadlift high pulls. Finished with some burpees.
