SO for lunch I had a few slices of Taro root http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taro in case you wanna know what it is, when it cooks, it turns blue like >> http://www.nandyala.org/mahanandi/archi ... taro-root/
with some smoked herrings prepared in a salty sauce-like topping... Drank some grapefruit juice with it even though I hate the stuff.

was great lunch! :)

Crystal: Of course I'm right! :P Kidding of course, your story sounds a lot like many women who fail to eat thinking that the less food they take in the better, this kills your metabolism of course and explains why they don't have any energy. I can't tell you how many people I've known that skip breakfast or have a granola bar then a diet coke for lunch and a small dinner. Some of them are those that smoke and drink coffee all day to keep going.

I don't recommend that you force yourself to eat or drink things you don't like, when you do it feels like a diet and has shown to make people crave more the things they are trying to limit themselves from eating. Also I'd say watch the sauces, condiments and what not. Quite often those can double the calorie content of your food. Eating healthy doesn't mean eating bland or yucky food, you can do so and enjoy what you eat as well. Your homework for today is to make a list of foods you do like and figure out what you can do with them that is healthy. If things like cheesecake find itself on the list then put that on the cheat/splurge side of things that you treat yourself to on occasion. Anyway I'm starting to ramble.

no rob actually that's a very helpful point you brought up, I can totally go for that.

And as for the list it sounds really interesting, I'm going to try to do one now and post it here :D when I post in the open and people see what I'm eating I feel more dedicated to stick ot it.

How has your plan been going?
Prepare the mental-bleach solution of two parts whiskey to two parts whisky.

oh dear I should update this! Such a scatterbrain I forgot I put the thread.

Lately I've managed to come completely off of the college diet (noodles.. noodles.. more instant noodles) and I'm upping my daily intake, now I'm up to three square meals a day! :D This morning for breakfast I had me some cereal with non-sweetened milk, then for lunch I had some orange juice with carrots, potato pie. Wondering what to have for dinner..

As for the exercising, I haven't gotten the cash to pay for the local pool yet so I've resorted to chasing my dog around the yard for half an hour each day, haha. Hard to keep but but so far so good :)
