I think it's also partly a lack of training. From what I understand, despite frequently representing the company the employees do not receive public relations training? Can anyone confirm that?

I remember reading somewhere that writing for The Simpsons comics meant mandatory PR training. Gail Simone wrote for them at one point and she's really good at PR.

No, baking powder. I'm pretty sure there's a part of the bible where it tells you that a man can't escape from a circle of baking powder tapped around his overstuffed corduroy la-z-boy as he watches NASCAR. WATCH OUT THOUGH: If he turns around and catches you doing it, you turn into salt.

HAHAHAHAHA. Man, do I ever hope that David Finch saw that.

But hey, Wonder Woman is front and center! RIGHT, LADIES? That's what we wanted...right? Be careful what you ask for.

(What bugs me most about her pose is her locked, or possibly broken, right knee. Who the hell locks their knees on a power pose?)

All the men around her seem to have locked knees. She's %50 cleverer for having one not locked.

Or something...

I'm so tired of female superheroes looking like hookers it's not even funny.

I also don't understand why almost all of them seem to need a "special forces" type guy to tag along with them to explain what to do and save their ass all the time. It's fatiguing.

Get it? Special forces? Fatiguing? Hahaha! *cough*

I really do wish that comics pencilers would buy a few female athletic magazines, NOT counting Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Editions, to get their inspiration. Is it really so difficult to find a few battle-ready poses that aren't either sexualized or masculinized?

Yeah, really. Just get shots of tennis or volleyball players.

Fatiguing - Groan. I didn't even plan that.
