Sweet, and good timing for me. I've recently been experimenting with a similar technique so this does help. I haven't seen my version of this looks like in print yet so I'm not sure how often I'll be using it but its nice to know that it works for you... have you encountered any problems with it when you see it in print? And you're right, its not quite color holds. I've been calling mine "uberholds" since I still have a separate layer with my traditional holds I needed something else to call it.

Cool, I was just worried that there may be some registration issues with that method.

fascinating stuff John. It's amazing how much difference those little tweaks at the end make. They really pull the image together and give it that little extra oomph.

Hey, peruzzo. Have you seen this vid of his? Shows how he sets up his palettes. He made a bunch of pre-fab palettes like that recently so he could pick one that was closest to his needs at a moment's notice.

yeah, that's what got me interested in his palette set up, the one before he monkeyed with the color balance and everything. It be great to have that as a starting point to use his technique, etc.
