WIP.

My shadowdancer.
Trying to develop a number of things. While working on drawing, I go back and redefine her and build her design up.
I'm not a fan of fetish-wear super hero costumes. And when trying to design a DnD character, also I wanted her to build on pseudo-realistic fantasy design. Rogue needs to be agile, access to potions/scrolls in a fight. Arrow guard on her left wrist. (Bow is not shown.) I should add that to her back, it would make sense for her to have it here. She was going to have sleeves on both arms for protection, but asymmetry is sweet as well. Shin guards need work.
I had her with short hair for a while. I'm been trying to decide on a cut. Recently, while working on expressions, I tried a bunch out, and ended up with this one. Which I really like. I didn't want long bangs at first. However, I noticed that the long side bang, is VERY expressive. It can be used from the side, back, and front to help telegraph emotion. So I think its the right choice.
The eye black is also a new idea. Saw a history show, that explained the Egyptian eye black was to cut down on glare from the sun. That makes so much sense, yet I never put 2+2 together on that. I thought it fit the character well. Serving as partial disguise.
Also... I watched Ergo Proxy.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QK3ZiYsa7iwI did a number of head shots for emotions, and a full body shots. This image was done more neutral on purpose to serve as a character shot more then scene. I was going to post a few of the others here. But I hated them when I looked at them after I scanned them. :/
