Quick dog sketch...

Yeah sorry it's not really comic book related and I hope that's okay. But the other night I finally decided to use my wacom pen and do a sketch. This is of a dog, which I'll be doing for a portrait by Christmas. A cat will also be in the portrait as well.

This is my first time using the wacom pen... Since I've had it, it's just been an expensive mouse to me lol. It's kinda tuff and I'd rather just use a pencil, but I think it will be worth practicing to get use to.

Lookin pretty good there for a first sketch. Practice with the wacom definitely helps. The first sketch with it that I did wasn't that good. Second or third one wasn't too bad. I might post those now just to show 'em.... if I can find it.

Yeah I'd love to see your first sketches on the wacom. It's kinda different from using good ol' pencils.
