Cruciate Ligament

My 15 year old cat Pixel tore out a ligament in her knee last week while I was out whooping it up at the Jupiter Lounge with friends. If you know anyone with a torn ACL, this is pretty much the same thing.
Those who know my cat know how great she is. Even at her age, she's playful, friendly, smart, a great pal, etc. So it's been KILLING me to see her in pain, unable to jump, and falling over while walking down the hallway. I can't do much to fix it either unfortunately, as surgery is not really an option for small cats like Pixel. They say the cutoff is 25 pounds, and she weighs 5. So, I'm stuck having to watch her lurch around and try to sleep it off. Hopefully she won't end up too lame. Poor cat.
Maybe I should build a tiny leg brace for her.
Anyway, it's put me days behind in my work from worry.
